He married twice. He married Clara Bell Fletcher November 7, 1895.⁽⁹²⁵⁾ Clara was born in LaPorte, Wayne Co, NE February 11, 1874.⁽⁹²⁶⁾ Clara⁽⁹²⁷⁾ was the daughter of Abner S. Fletcher and Frances H. Hoselton. Clara died 1974 at 100 years of age.⁽⁹²⁸⁾ Clara's occupation: housewife 1897.⁽⁹²⁹⁾ He married Sadie A Unknown.⁽⁹³⁰⁾ Sadie was born 1872.⁽⁹³¹⁾ (Additional notes for Sadie A Unknown⁽⁹³²⁾) Sadie died 1945 at 73 years of age.⁽⁹³³⁾ Her body was interred in Piper City, Ford Co., IL, Brenton Cemetery.⁽⁹³⁴⁾
