He married Sara Ann Spencer in Danville, Montour Co., PA, December 24, 1890.⁽¹⁴¹⁸⁾ Sara was born in Cinderford, Gloustershire, England July 13, 1871. Sara⁽¹⁴¹⁹⁾ was the daughter of Luke Spencer and Ann Dudley Chambers. According to Charlotte Walter, she was born and raised in England (00838:79).
