446. John Ward⁵ Linn (Fountain Quay⁴, Joseph 'Brittain'³, Joseph Britton², Andrew¹)⁽²⁶⁶⁴⁾ was born in Beech Creek, Clinton Co., PA May 17, 1906. John died April 25, 1953 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, at 46 years of age.⁽²⁶⁶⁵⁾ His body was interred April 1953 in Lock Haven RD, Clinton Co., PA, Rest Haven Memorial Park.⁽²⁶⁶⁶⁾

He married Violet Nancy Brown in Baltimore, Maryland, December 13, 1924.⁽²⁶⁶⁷⁾ Violet was born in Rote, Clinton Co., PA April 10, 1906. Violet⁽²⁶⁶⁸⁾ was the daughter of James Rhuben Brown and Nellie Catharine Weaver. Violet died May 15, 1987 in Woodward Twp., Clinton Co., PA, at 81 years of age. Her body was interred May 1987 in Mill Hall RD, Clinton Co., PA, Cedar Hill Cemetery.⁽²⁶⁶⁹⁾

John Ward Linn and Violet Nancy Brown had the following children:

727 i. Jacque Phyllis⁶ Linn⁽²⁶⁷⁰⁾ was born in Beech Creek, Clinton Co., PA June 30, 1926. She married George C. Wrye in Lock Haven, Clinton Co., PA, July 26, 1946.⁽²⁶⁷¹⁾ George was born in Warriors Mark, Centre Co., PA August 2, 1921. George⁽²⁶⁷²⁾ was the son of James Wyre and Mary Ann Rhinehart. George died September 11, 1989 in Avis, Clinton Co., PA, at 68 years of age. George was a Mason. He died at his home at 206 Prospect Avenue, Avis, PA and was cremated (01409:35).

+ 729 iii. Patricia Ann Linn was born January 1, 1930.
