56. Susan E.³ Linn (Joseph Britton², Andrew¹)⁽⁶¹⁶⁾ was born 1839. Susan died 1914 at 75 years of age.

She married Henry A. Snyder May 1862.⁽⁶¹⁷⁾ Henry was born November 28, 1833. Henry⁽⁶¹⁸⁾ was the son of Wilhelm Snyder and Margaret Marshall. Henry died December 7, 1910 at 77 years of age.

Mr. Snyder and his wife are both buried in the Baptist Cemetery. He served in the Civil War: Company A, 38th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Infantry. He conducted a general store and was postmaster. His brothers and sisters [living] at the time of his death were: 1) Mrs. Roland Smith of Winlock, WA., 2) Mrs. William Bechdel of Blanchard, PA., 3) Miss Sarah Snyder of Blanchard, PA., and Thompson Snyder of State College, PA. 200 iii. Cora B. Snyder⁽⁶²³⁾ was born 1863. Cora died 1947 at 84 years of age.

201 iv. Mabel Gertrude Snyder⁽⁶²⁴⁾ was born in Blanchard, Centre Co., PA July 31, 1876. She married Milton S. McDowell June 28, 1900.⁽⁶²⁵⁾ (Additional notes for Milton S. McDowell⁽⁶²⁶⁾) Milton died 1958 in State College, PA. Milton's occupation: Univ. Professor. Mable and Milton were married by the Reverend A.P. Wharton. Milton was Director of Agriculture Extension at Penn State.
