162. George B.⁴ Linn (Joseph M.³, James A.², Andrew¹)⁽¹³¹⁵⁾ was born circa 1866. George died October 23, 1913 in Lewiston, at 47 years of age.

He married twice. He married Mollie J. 'Maud' Rarabaugh in Beech Creek, Clinton Co., PA, August 9, 1888.⁽¹³¹⁶⁾ Mollie was born circa 1870. Mollie⁽¹³¹⁷⁾ was the daughter of Joe Rarabaugh and Sarah Frances 'Fannie' Confer. Mollie was divorced from George B. Linn before 1901.⁽¹³¹⁸⁾ George's 18 year old bride Maud hailed from Beech Creek Township and they were married by James Clark, Justice of Peace (01409:13). George and his first wife had two children, Raleigh and Pearl, who lived with Thayer and Maud Burns Rarabaugh when they were young. H. Hebester Lindsey (1896-1978) remembers that they attended the Tway (sp??) school. George and his second wife Carrir Orr married on January 1, 1908 and apparently had no children. (00838:48) In 1900, after the divorce of George, Mollie J., Raleigh and Pearl were living in Beech Creek with her (Mollie) parents Joseph and Sarah Rarabaugh. Living in the same household were Mollie's brother Thomas J. "Thayer" and his wife Maud Burns Rarabaugh. Pearl's obituary said that she had lived for a while with her sister, Ima Tyler of Willimasport; apparently, Ima was a baby sister. Pearl lived last with her daughter Frances Putman Reitz her other children already deceased. (00838:49) __________________________Further Research Required Source 00838:49 notes that Mollie "Maud" may have also had a second marriage and source 00838:71 confirms this by noting that she married Thomas Burney. However, it is interesting to note that her brother Thomas had a wife named Maud Burns Rarabaugh. The names Thomas and Burns are not unlike Thomas Burney. Is it possible that there has been some data confused or intermixed in the underlying research for source 00838? The answer may be found by looking at the Daily Democrat of November 9, 1901 (see 00838:71). 70

George B. Linn and Mollie J. 'Maud' Rarabaugh had the following children:
