385. Raleigh James⁵ Linn (George B.⁴, Joseph M.³, James A.², Andrew¹)⁽²⁴¹⁵⁾ was born in Beech Creek, Clinton Co., PA February 15, 1890. Raleigh died March 11, 1947 in Westport, Clinton Co., PA, at 57 years of age. His body was interred in North Bend, PA.

Raleigh's occupation: Engineer.

Raleigh was an engineer for Queen's Run Refactory company which operated at North Bend. He also worked as an engineer for Armour Leather Company of Gleasonton, Pennsylvania. He and Helen, of Gleasonton, were married by the Reverend J.H. Bettens, pastor of the North Bend Methodist Episcopal Church. He lived at 607 Spruce Street in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and is buried in North Bend Cemetery. Raleigh⁶ Linn Jr.⁽²⁴¹⁸⁾. _________________Further Research Required Source 00838:50 indicates that Raleigh was killed in the war (presumably WWII) while source 01409:32 indicates that he was living in Williamsport, PA in 1947, after the end of WWII. Perhaps he was killed in some military action after WWII. In any case, this conflict is in need of a resolution.

653 ii. Harry R. Linn⁽²⁴¹⁹⁾. Harry died after 1947.

According to source 00838:50, Harry was killed in an automobile accident. This, however, must have occurred after (probably March) 1947 in that he is listed as living in Williamsport during that year (01409:32).

654 iii. Earl E. Linn⁽²⁴²⁰⁾. He resides in Williamsport, Lycoming Co., PA 1980. Earl apparently lived in Buffalo, New York in 1947 (01409:32). According to source 00838:50, Earl is an amputee; however, no information is provided as to circumstances or the extent.

655 iv. Franklin R. Linn⁽²⁴²¹⁾. He resides in New Jersey. Franklin was in the U.S. Navy and assigned to the destroyer S.S. William A. Rush (01409:32).
