237. Martha "Mattie"⁴ Crispen (John Wesley³, Martha Catharine² Linn, Andrew¹)⁽¹⁵⁴⁸⁾ was born in Mill Hall, Clinton Co., PA December 8, 1871.

She married Ulysses S. Grant Armstrong April 23, 1896.⁽¹⁵⁴⁹⁾ Ulysses was born September 1863. Ulysses⁽¹⁵⁵⁰⁾ was the son of Robert Armstrong and Mary J. Unknown. Ulysses died 1935 at 71 years of age. Ulysses's occupation: Axeman. Mattie and Grant were married by the Reverend J.C. Wilhelm. They lived for a time in Warren, PA and were counted on the 1900 census of Mill Hall, PA.
