He married Velma M. Morrison June 23, 1926.⁽¹⁷⁸³⁾ Velma was born in Southport, Buncombe Co., NC March 31, 1906.⁽¹⁷⁸⁴⁾ Velma was the daughter of George W. Morrison and Callie Rowland. Velma died July 31,1999 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co., NC, at 93 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁸⁵⁾

Clifford Raymond Linn and Velma M. Morrison had the following children:

+ 539 ii. Harriett Louise Linn was born September 26, 1928.

540 iii. Clifford Raymond Linn was born in Honolulu, Maui Co., HI May 16, 1930.⁽¹⁷⁸⁶⁾ Clifford died August 14, 1969 in Ashville, Pamlico Co., NC, at 39 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁸⁷⁾ His body was interred in Murphy, Cherokee Co., AR, Peachtree Cemetery.⁽¹⁷⁸⁸⁾
