299. Jennie Irene⁵ Carpenter (Sarah Ellen "Nellie"⁴ Linn, John C.³, Thomas², Andrew¹) was born March 7, 1899.⁽¹⁷⁸⁹⁾ Jennie died September 26, 1986 at 87 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁹⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Piper City, Ford Co., IL, Brenton Cemetery.⁽¹⁷⁹¹⁾

She married Isadore Leiser July 7, 1922.⁽¹⁷⁹²⁾ Isadore was born September 24, 1892.⁽¹⁷⁹³⁾ (Additional notes for Isadore Leiser⁽¹⁷⁹⁴⁾) Isadore died March 5, 1946 at 53 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁹⁵⁾ His body was interred in Piper City, Ford Co., IL, Brenton Cemetery.^{(1796) (1797)} Adrienne Leiser tells a Piper City, IL story about Lottie and George Kemnetz. They lived in Piper City and were good friends of her parents Jean and Frank Carpenter. From George's service station you could see the Switzer home. Adrienne frequently stayed with the Kemnetz family while growing up and would play with the Piper cousins. When Lottie and⁽¹⁷⁹⁸⁾ Jean were both widows they would sometimes visit the cemetries in both Cullom and Piper. Lottie would say something like this -- Honest to goodness, Jean, I know more people in the cemetery than I do in town. Adrienne says that it is now her turn because she feels the same way when she visits those two cemeteries.

Jennie Irene Carpenter and Isadore Leiser had the following children:

+ 542 ii. Roger Samuel Leiser was born June 2, 1929.
